Things I've learned?

OK, so I've had a lot of titles through the years...tutor, teacher, presenter, instructor, education director, mother...to name a few. With titles like that, you'd think I've spent a bit of time teaching people one thing or another. And maybe I have. 

But it occurs to me that I've spent as much or more time learning -- usually from the very ones who are supposed to be learning from me. So I thought I'd share some of those things. And since my techno-communication-savvy sister, Pam, has encouraged me to do so, I figured, what better place than a blog?
